Hi there,
what I'm currently trying to achieve is the following:
- Writing technical and User Documentations in Markdown (works)
- Uploading them to Bitbucket to keep track of changes (works)
- Display the technical Documenation in Bitbucket (works)
- Creating a Confluence Page with the rendered Content from Bitbucket's User-MD-Files (since a lot of User have Confluence but not Bitbucket Access)
Is this possible ?
Hi @Frozzo,
This is absolutely possible but you'll need a third party extension for it. I know of several apps on the Marketplace that can do this, but since I'm working at Lively Apps I'll of course show you our own one. :)
The main feature of our app Git Snippets for Confluence is that it allows you to embed self-updating code snippets from Bitbucket and Github repositories into your Confluence pages with a macro. The nice thing about it is that it has a Markdown renderer included so it works perfectly for your use case. Simply enable a checkbox in the Git Snippets macro and you're good:
If you have any questions about it you can ask me here or raise a ticket at our ServiceDesk! :)
Cheers,
Sven
