Hi!

Is there any way to create charts which base on confluence databases? I want to replace some of my tables with Confluence DB.

Thanks!

Hello,

You will need to have a specific plugin.

I guess EazyBi can answer to your need.

Hi all!

@Mickaël ORSOLINO, Thank you for suggesting eazyBI!

@Sebastian Krzewiński, if you are interested in digging deeper into the eazyBI for Confluence solution, you can first take a look at a blog with a webinar recording on what intelligence could be retrieved from Confluence using eazyBI: https://eazybi.com/blog/eazybi-for-confluence-app/.

To explore eazyBI for Confluence, we have also created an eazyBI Demo account containing report templates: https://docs.eazybi.com/plugins/servlet/eazybi/accounts/6/dashboards/8-sample-activity-summary. If you see something useful for your business, you can easily export and import those reports into your accounts (https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/analyze-and-visualize/create-reports/export-and-import-report-definitions).

If you have any specific questions, you are welcome to contact eazyBI support at support@eazybi.com.

I'm coming to a few years later, but it seems like easyBI requires you to use easyBI databases and not the Confluence database. Is that correct?

Hi @jimmy_barrett

It depends on where you use the eazyBI app.

If you use eazyBI for Confluence app on Confluence Data Center, on top of the standard eazyBI data model, you could create another custom cube where you pull Confluence data directly from the Confluence database using SQL queries.

In case of Confluence Cloud, your observation is correct, eazyBI would let you analyze data from the eazyBI database, where it stores data pulled from Confluence spaces and pages according to the eazyBI data model.

Check this page on what dimensions and measures eazyBi would import automatically from Confluence pages: https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/data-import/data-from-confluence/confluence-measures-and-dimensions

However, if you find the right REST API endpoints in the Atlassian documentation to pull data from Confluence Cloud pages, it should be possible to analyze Confluence Cloud statistics using eazyBI as well.

You could reach out to eazyBI support and provide more details about your use case.
