I'm seeking recommendations for a Mailchimp and Confluence integration. Do you have an add-on or plugin that you recommend? Is it possible to use API's to integrate them?

Depends on what you mean by integrate. If you just want to do reporting / read-only stuff you could certainly use PocketQuery to speak to the REST API of Mailchimp.
Anything beyond that would probably require a custom app.
