Macro : Table of content issue

Deleted user March 23, 2021

Hello,

I'm starting using Confluence and I think this is great !

Moving forward in the features, I have just added excerpts from other page, which prevent me from informtion duplication. But it looks like the content of the other page is now displaying within the table of content... Does anyone know how to fix this ?

Here are the steps to reproduce the issue :
1. Defining the content extract to display within page 1.
2. Displaying this ectract content from page 1 within page 2.
3. Defining another content to extract from page 2 to re-use on page 3, containing the extract of page 1.
Result : the content defined as an extract to display from page 1 is now displaying within the Table of Content of page 2 and Page 3.

Thank you Community !

B.

Here is attached a screenshot of what I get, using the macro "include exerpt" :

The section in black is a contebt and should not appear in the Table of Content

Bonjour!

That should only happen if that content is formatted as a heading. Is that the case?

Hi Bill, thank you very much for the answer :) That content wasn't formatted as a heading but the excerpt was unintentionnaly formatted that way. Thanks a lot and have a great week-end!
