I am using the Live Input Macro - Text Area on a form that we want users to update without having to edit the page. When any key is pressed, a blank row is added to the text area for each key. This results in a large text area that is greatly disproportionate to the content it contains.
If the user tabs out of the field, the data is saved and the text area resized appropriately. While this works, it is a rather poor user experience.
The only way I’ve found to prevent this is by pasting information into the field or clicking down on the field expander in the bottom right while data is entered. Neither of which is an acceptable alternative.
There is a play area on Live Input Macros site, but it does not include this field. I've checked this forum and others - without finding any related questions.
There may be other plug-in options, but we're limited to an enterprise approved set of tools.
Hoping someone else has found a work around.
