Layout & behavior issues with new eval

just finished the installation of an eval copy of Confluence and find the layout is broken.

* the browse and personal menus are both visible and do not hide

* the Quick search label color is black over a dark blue background

The layout issues seem to suggest a style sheet is missing or broken.

Also, ajax behaviors seem to all be broken. EX: Under Administration - > Support Tools, the Support Request and other sections never load the loading graphic displays but not content loads.

Which version of Confluence are you using?

Please ensure none of the required plugins and modules are not disabled. A quick check is to run this SQL query:

SELECT * FROM BANDANA WHERE BANDANAKEY='plugin.manager.state.Map'

If you have any third-party plugins installed, then please enable the safe mode.

Another thing is to check the atlassian-confluence.log file to see if there are any errors
