Hi Everyone,
I am new to Atlassian but I have done a bit of research on this subject. I need some advice.
Currently we have a Knowledge base in Confluence setup for our customers. We also have a group assigned only for the customers login's so that they can only see our knowledge base and nothing else.
But to give them access, we have to migrate the account and then assign the groups to them, because of Jira.
Is there not a simple way of giving our customers access, they must only see the knowledge base and nothing else?
We use Jira and Confluence. We have migrated to the cloud as well.
Another suggestion is to create a confluence space just for customers and ad the knowledge base there, separate from our companies information.
Do you know how I can do this?
Thanks
Theresa
To begin, create a dedicated space in Confluence specifically for your customer knowledge base. Utilize the "Single space guests" feature to invite customers as guest users to this designated space, thereby limiting their access to only the knowledge base space.
This way you able to effectively enable customers to access the knowledge base through the Jira Service Management customer portal, while restricting their access to other Confluence content.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
