KB Only visible to Confluence Users

I am just setting up my knowledge base and who can view and who can edit are both set to 'Only Confluence Users' with all other options greyed out and non-selectable.

Is this because I am currently only using the free trial of confluence?

Hi @Lee Hutchinson

Are you using Confluence Free or are you using Confluence Premium and you're within your 30-day trial period?

Your Product Plan tag suggests the latter, but the behavior suggests the former.

Confluence Free does not support anonymous access to spaces and the only way to create a public Knowledge base (documentation site), from a Free Confluence (or from a private Confluence space as such), is to use an app like Scroll Viewport.

If you're talking about publishing your Confluence content to Jira Service Management to create a knowledge base, you must resolve permissions - based on this docs, you must allow anonymous access to a specific space. For which you have to upgrade Standard or above.
