I'm returning JobRunnerResponse.failed(e) from my JobRunner during fail conditions and while testing a fail and running a job from the Scheduled Jobs screen, I don't see the error/exception/failure indicated in the interface or in the History view. There isn't even anything logged (unless I log the exception myself in a catch).
So, what's the point returning this really? SHOULD the Scheduled Jobs screen be indicating to the user that the job failed or not?
I don’t have a direct answer as to how the JobRunnerResponse should be presenting the results if failed. I did find some resources which discuss JobRunnerResponse along with two other developer posts which reference JobRunnerResponse.
