JobRunnerResponse.failed() - Does this do anything useful?

Hi,

I'm returning JobRunnerResponse.failed(e) from my JobRunner during fail conditions and while testing a fail and running a job from the Scheduled Jobs screen, I don't see the error/exception/failure indicated in the interface or in the History view.  There isn't even anything logged (unless I log the exception myself in a catch).

So, what's the point returning this really?  SHOULD the Scheduled Jobs screen be indicating to the user that the job failed or not?

Thanks,

Al

Hello Al,

I don’t have a direct answer as to how the JobRunnerResponse should be presenting the results if failed. I did find some resources which discuss JobRunnerResponse along with two other developer posts which reference JobRunnerResponse.

Here are is developer information:

I hope the provided documents and posts assist with finding out how JobRunnerResponse should function.
