JSON Table error loading data

This looks like a simple example, so hopefully I'm just missing something.

Notice the 3 macros on the page (screenshot below).

  1. Success Implemented the simple JSON Table example from https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TBL/pages/69304357/Building+a+Simple+Table+from+Rest+API+Data
  2. iFrame displaying results from https://api.freddysusa.com/mobilem8-web-service/rest/mobilem8/version/extended
  3. JSON Table specifying only BuildVersion (also tried as blank) and also  "URL to JSON data" with the same URL as used above https://api.freddysusa.com/mobilem8-web-service/rest/mobilem8/version/extended

Can anyone get this to work?

Any idea what I am missing?

Thank you,

Andy

Hi @Andy Prouty ,

Maybe it happens so that you use our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app along with the Advanced Tables for Confluence? These apps are compatible, and our customers often have both of them.

If this is so, you may try the Table from JSON macro - it also helps to output JSON data from URLs and show it as a regular Confluence table.

Hi there,

As this question concerns our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, we are happy to introduce its new macro – Table Spreadsheet.

The macro allows you to work with fully functional Excel spreadsheets right in Confluence.

You’ll be able to use cells’ formulas, filters, conditional formatting, etc., create pivot tables and charts from the page view and edit mode.

The Table Spreadsheet macro is available for Cloud and Server/Data Center.

Hi @Andy Prouty,

I personally cannot access https://api.freddysusa.com/mobilem8-web-service/rest/mobilem8/version/extended. It looks like you may have an IP allowlist set up on that resource or maybe some kind of authentication is required? If that is the case, and if the app makes their request to this URL from their backend (which I don't know but is quite likely), then you'll need to add the IP of the app to your allowlist or provide it with the proper authentication details.

Cheers,
Sven
