Issue Exporting PDF and Word Document versions of pages

Had this issue come up recently. Occasionally we have need to print some of our confluence pages off to give to various departments, and these can be quite long and in depth. recently we needed to print a 25 page document off however after page 17 images were not exported to the word document showing "this picture can't be displayed."

The PDF was even worse with images resizing, overlapping and not being usable at all. 

any suggestions or input? would be a huge help!

Hi @luke herbert welcome to the community!  I took a look at Atlassian's Jira site (jira.atlassian.com) and came across this issue: CONFCLOUD-31714 .

I believe this is the problem you are encountering.  If it is, feel free to vote for and watch it for further updates.  I voted for it too.

Working with PDF's can be a bit complicated with the default functionality (I am crossing my fingers for improvements).

For these cases, I like to recommend a third-party app called Scroll PDF Exporter, which adds and improves the exporting functionality and results in a neat and quite customizable export that can be saved as a template for future use. Perhaps you can give them a shot or contact their team directly for a demo?
