Is there anyway to do re-indexing in confluence

david martin April 28, 2014

Hello:

Users are now noticing links that now do nothing or go nowhere in confluence. Is there anyway to re-index in confluence so that we can recreate those links/pointers like you can in jira?

Maybe I was not clear with my problem. I have these two web page links that use to bring up the same page and now neither one of these links does anything but time out.

https://confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=51741296

https://confluence/display/SR/Monthly+Status+Report

users are noticing that this has happened a few places with confluence pages.

Also in addition to Andris, you can also reindex from scratch by shutting down confluence, deleting the index folder in confluence_home/index, starting the application and rebuilding indexes.

Maybe you can explain a bit more about the link/pointers so we can check that?

Cheers,

Rodrigo
