Is there a way to use the macro 'Content by User' where the user is whoever is viewing the page?

I am trying to display content created by the viewer looking at the page.

How can I use use the macro 'Content by User' or similar where the user is whoever is viewing the page? So the page would look different depending on who was viewing it.

Hi @Marina Liberato ,

Welcome to the community !! There is no option for this.

Please note:
Content by User macro is intentionally excluded from the new editor in confluence cloud and will be deprecated from the legacy editor soon.

Hello @Marina Liberato, and welcome to the Atlassian Community as well!

Unfortunately, this function is not covered by the native tools as Rilwan mentioned. One alternative is to use a third-party analytics app to find this information from the Atlassian Marketplace.

Our team, bitvoodoo, works with Viewtracker - Analytics for Confluence, which provides your team with insights on how your content is performing, including the "Content Report," which yields metrics of the current page, including how many times each user saw it (if the privacy settings set by the admin allows it). Perhaps it could help?

With friendly regards and all the best
Rodrigo
