I have been working on a page and the system crashed a few hours into a project but it doesn't appear to have been saved anywhere, is there anything that can be done?
The last version in the history section was the previous time I had worked on the page without the current edits.
Did Confluence crash or the PC you were working on?
Confluence normally saves your edits instantly while working on a page. When you come back to edit that page later everything should be there even if you did not save the changes yet.
Of course you need to have an active network connection for this to work.
This can be different when you use Confluence Data Center and collaborative editing is not enabled. But your question is tagged as cloud so this does not apply to you.
You can also check your drafts on the Confluence home page. Those are pages that were never published before.
Thank you,
It was a confluence that crashed... there was no way to recover the work as for whatever reason it was not saving along the way. Lesson learned, I update as I go along now.
