Is there a way to create a subtask in Jira from a Confluence whiteboard?

Currently, the "Create a Jira issue" option in Whiteboards allows to create an issue down to the level of a story.
To our team, it will be extremely useful to have an option to create subtasks within a given, existing, story.
Is there a way to do so already, or a plan to implement such a feature?

Hello @Yochai Maytal

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

I don't see that in their public backlog.

https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?jql=project%20in%20(%22Confluence%20Cloud%22)%20and%20summary~whiteboard

You could contact Atlassian Support directly to raise that suggestion and find out if it is in a private backlog.

https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Or you could provide that suggestion through the Give Feedback option in Confluence.

Thank you @Trudy Claspill for the answer.

I will follow your suggestions.
