Is there a way to bring the value input for a field in JIRA ticket to a confluence page ?

Navaneeth M March 4, 2020

Example

* I have created a JIRA ticket which has a field "Spec" and the value input for the field is "Approved"

* Now i create a confluence page with two columns in it. The first column will contain the JIRA ticket url. In the second column, can i bring the "Spec"? Also it need to be updated if the Spec field is modified in JIRA

Hello @Navaneeth M ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What you are trying to achieve is not possible OOB.

We do have the below Feature Request open in order to have this functionality added to Confluence but, as you can see, it is a quite old one since it did not manage to get much traction in all this time:

However, as mentioned in above FR, a possible workaround has been discussed in another thread:

Workaround

Possible workaround discussed in below thread in Atlassian Community:

Please review above thread and check if it helps.

Also, you might still want to vote and watch the above feature request so that you will get notified in case of any update (for details please see the Implementation of New Features Policy).

Cheers,
Dario
