Is there a way to avoid tagging the wrong person?

Hello,
I often tag people on pages or in the comments using the @ symbol.
Sometimes when I type the name, I select the wrong person by mistake - usually someone I have never worked with.

Is there anyway to limit the names that pop up when tagging people to avoid the wrong person being selected by mistake? For example, only showing people you connect with regularly or already in the comment chain.

We use Confluence extensively in my organisation & I imagine this could avoid a lot of people being tagged incorrectly - avoiding delays / wasted effort

Hi, @Vikas Gupta. Welcome to the community!
Unfortunately, there is currently no built-in feature to limit the tagging suggestions specifically to those you frequently interact with or those already in the comment chain.

If your organization uses groups in Confluence, tagging the group instead of individuals can be a workaround. However, this feature is limited and may not be available in all instances.

Hope this will help!
