Is there a way to automatically move a child page to a new parent when you change the tag?

Steven Convent November 19, 2020

When you have a page under a parent and you change the tag for that page say from TAG1 to TAG2, is there a way to move that Page from its existing parent to a new parent automatically?

Example:

Active Projects: Parent Page

Project 1 : Child Page

Tag: Active

Project gets completed

Change Tag: Completed

Page auto moves to new parent

Complete Projects: Parent Page

Project 1: Now Child of new Page

AvonoApps (previously known as CPrime Apps) has a way to create this functionality using SIL scripts: https://anovaapps.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CTR/pages/2150811/Comala+Workflows+-+Move+page

This *does* require downloading the PowerScripts for Confluence plugin.

No, you would have to create a plugin to perform such an operation.

If you are just trying to segregate pages, you can create page lists based on filters.
