Is there a way to automatically flag content that has been changed?

We need to manage a lot of translated content and I'm looking for a good way to automatically flag content for translation, i.e. I'd like it to automatically check a box or highlight the content in red or something similar whenever the English content is changed.

E.g. "English text English text English text" is changed to "English text English text English text edit". I'd like a checkbox for "needs translation" to automatically be checked when this change is made.

Does anyone know of an extension that could make this happen?

I think what would help in your situation is a document approvals add-on. You can find these on Atlassian Marketplace.

These add-ons allow you to track changes and approve content. 

Another add-on that might be of interest to you is the Lango Language add-on. I haven't used it personally, but it looks interesting, so I wanted to share it.
