I create a TOC that takes me to a place on a page. What do I need to do so a user can get back to the top of the page without scrolling. The back arrow does not seem to work on a page.
Placing an anchor on the first line of the page body and then linking to that anchor using, for example, ^Top will not get you to the anchor location. I takes you about an inch or so below the anchor location.
We place anchors at the top of long pages, then after sections on the page, we place a ^Top link to take users back to the top of the page.
I've seen it work no more than one time, then subsequent clicks on the top links drop you about an inch or so below the anchor on the first line of the page. We just make sure we don't put any text of significance at the very top.
