Is it possible to share an embedded database on a page with a public link?

I want to share a page with an embedded database as a public link. But the database content is restricted when the link is opened by an external user. Is there a way to share this publicly?

Hello @Thomas Steip 

I believe the answer is no.

Public Links enable you to share Confluence pages with users who don't have access to your Confluence instance. Essentially they are accessing the specified content anonymously.

Databases don't support anonymous access as per this page:

You can share the page publicly but the database would not be viewable by anyone who does not have access to it specifically. 

All permissions will work this way, imbedding any other Atlassian content via a smartlink will only show that content to those who have access to the original source.
