Is it possible to hide changes on a page?

1. I do not think its possible without a plugin, which I don't think it would be hard to do.

2 & 3. So you want Anonymous users to have access to your site (specifically spaces) but you don't want them to be able to see the dashboard? You could probably edit the .vm file for the dashboard to check if the user is anonymous, and if so, don't display the timeline or space list.
