I am looking to create a Template where there is formatting to each of the variables in particular I'm looking to automatically make a variable red to stand out more is this possible in Confluence?
Hi @Eliot Bolster , welcome to the Community!
I just tested this and can confirm it works when I mark the variable when I go over the it with the mouse while holding down the left button (rather than doubleclicking the variable).
When marked, format it as you would with words.
Kind regards,
Nicolai
Hey @Nicolai Sibler , Thank you.
I didn't actually try completing the page so when I was in the template it looked like it wasn't formatted my bad
thank you again,
Eliot

Hi @Nicolai Sibler , does this still work for you? Are you able to apply the formatting in the template itself? Or only when creating a new page from the template?
I've just created a new confluence page template and I can't for the life of me get it to format any variables that I put into the template. They always come out as plain text.
