I have two forms-F-master and F-child. I have a smart dropdown in F-master that has about 20 values populated from F-child. Because F-child records have system generated id for each of the records, it becomes difficult to refer the values while using the import API for F-master (because I have to provide the F-child record id).
Is it possible to assign the unique Ids myself for F-child record?
My bad. It was straight forward by setting the value of the ïd"field using rule. And ensuring uniqueness via another rule
Hi
While it is possible to have own IDs we strongly recommend not to do it.
Unless you absolutely sure what you are doing and can ensure the uniqueness of IDs (within the form as a minimum and really, within all forms)
