In Confluence--moving from space to space/links

Michael E Bowman October 22, 2014

I am new to Confluence–working on a project for a client. I had the following 2 questions:

1-If the client uses multiple spaces, is is possible to move a page from one space to another?
If possible, that could be done by the administrator of the site?

2-Is is possible to create links that would direct a user from a page from one space to another page
in the second space? If so, how could that be done?

Thanks,

  1.  Yes.  In fact, any user can move a page as long as they have the right to edit that page in its current space, and the permissions to create pages in the target space.  (Those are the same permission, but on two spaces)
  2. Yes.  You can specify links as [ my link ] in the body of a page.  There's also other sneaky options like "include content of page X here in page Y"
