I've tried many times to import data into a Confluence database. It's 2500 rows with about 18 columns with just text data.
I've tried CSV (both UT8 and the normal one), .htm, tried copy/pasting, tried breaking it into smaller chunks (500 rows at a time) and still nothing.
Essentially, the import UI will load the table, I'll click submit, wait a while (5-20 mins) and then the database will load with nothing in it.
The strange thing is that it worked once, but I realized there was an error so i tried again and haven't been able to get it to work. Anyone have any ideas?
Hi @daniel
Welcome to Atlassian Community.
Can you post the error which you are getting from UI or
you can get errors from your confluence <home-directory>/logs
or in Catalina.out file which will be in <home-directory>/confluence/log

I experienced many of the same issues as Daniel. I couldn't drag a data table or import a CSV file without an issue with the headers. On all attempts to import a csv file, I received an error message "Webpage is not responding - do you want to continue waiting or close the pages".

I was able to get the import csv file to work by creating a new database and converting the column types from dropdown to text.
