Image sizing and wrapping text around images inside numbered list

1)  When I paste an image or insert from file, it is a tiny little square until I toggle from inline to full size.  Once full size, it is blurry and I am unable to resize it with the handle (only the right handle shows when I click on the image).  It seems as though being inside a numbered list confines the image to the "margins" of the numbered list.  How can I size images without being confined by the margins of numbered list?  This seems related to the VERY longstanding ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-69403

2)  It looks like the options for changing the text-wrapping around an image are not available when I insert image or paste it into a numbered list.  Why am I unable to set text wrapping of an image inside a numbered list?

A workaround seems to be that clicking Inline then Full size on the toolbar makes the full-size options appear again. If you look at the image in the question, you will see where you can enter the number of pixels to use for the image. Clicking inline then original size does make it bigger than the tiny thumbnail, but still not the image's actual size, and I also am unable to resize it using either the single handle on the right (there is no second handle) nor by changing the length/width measurements.

When an image is inside of a numbered or bulleted list, it is being constrained by the left/right margins of the list, and also the usual image options are NOT available (text wrapping, etc.).  There are many severe limitations/bugs associated with numbered or bulleted lists, a LOT of functionality is either not available or doesn't work.

Can we get the prioritization changed on addressing some of these issues (e.g. not being able to add warning panels, info panels, etc. inside of a numbered or bulleted list, not being able to insert an image of correct size in numbered list, etc.)?  I see multiple confluence questions/tickets in this area that are years old.
