This is my project work management page in jira and i tried to create confluence in Jira. However, I could not create pages. because I do not have access to confluence. The message said " The site admin has received your request to join Confluence. If you're approved to join, project pages will start working and we'll send you a confirmation email.", but I have not received any response from jira. I need to create the confluence as soon as possible. Could you please let me know how you can help.
Many thanks,
Connie
@Connie_zhang Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
First question: do you if your company already has Confluence? My company used Trello, then Jira (for a year), before they felt the need to add Confluence.
When you connect to your Jira instance and select the Atlassian App Switcher in the top left corner, do you see Confluence in the list of apps you can switch to?
Jira and Confluence are two separate entities that live within your company's Atlassian Organization. They have different sets of users. Your Jira can have 200 users, your Confluence 100, they may be people with access to both or one of them.
It seems that you have access to Jira but no seat or proper permissions in Confluence or the specific Confluence space. Only Org/Site admin can grant you that.
Your admin would be typically either an org/department head or someone from the IT/DevOps team.
Whoever runs infrastructure and access in your company, should know that and point you in the right direction.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You need to reach out to your admin internally to get access to Confluence, that is the only way.
Thanks,
Pramodh

Thanks so much. Pramodh. who is my admin? Is it my colleague who created the project?
