I have an xls that is updated from a filesystem.

I want to display the xls content on a page and link to the file on the FS. So when the file system copy changes/updated the page changes accordingly

I'm not sure if it is possible natively, but you could eventually implement an automation that takes the XLS file in the filesystem and adds that to the Confluence page as an attachment, and repeats it in every N minutes. That'd definitely work. 

ScriptRunner should be able to do this.
