I can't type text 8) without it converting to an emoji

I'm trying to type the text 8) but it converts to emoji 😎.

How can I avoid this behavior?

Hi @Kenneth , welcome!

When you type 8) , try making the space between the 8 and ) and then delete the space to see the results.

I have not much experience with Confluence Cloud, but on Data Center you could simply Undo the change (e.g. Control-Z on Windows). The emoji inserted by Confluence is  then again replaced with the original text input.

Maybe this works on Cloud, too?
