I am unable to create and edit new Confluence articles

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

I am able to create a new article, but when I am prompted to write the article or make edits I am unable to do so. Clicking, highlighting, or typing glitches the page and I cannot make edits except to delete the page.

Do you get any specific errors when working on the page? Have you tried a different browser without any add-ons installed?
