Hi Folks I am looking at archiving to remediate page proliferation in some of our confluence spaces and was thinking that a low threshold for number of views would be a good rule/selection criterion alongside page age or last update. Can anyone advise on how to use the number of views data item in the archiving process to apply this kind of rule?
Hi, @Matthew Groves 👋
AFAIK this is not possible with the archiving feature in Confluence Cloud. Hopefully, someone will correct me if I am wrong about this.
Moreover, I can find nothing in the docs for Atlassian Automation to suggest this can be done with automation (today). Note: Atlassian is enhancing automation at a rapid pace.
Therefore, if this is important to you, I think you'll have to look for an add-on in the Atlassian Marketplace that can do this.
Sorry,
-dave
Thanks for the swift response Dave, much appreciated - it does seem peculiar that some data items are available to apply archiving rules against while others are not. Do you know if there is a suitable channel to raise this and other archiving criteria for consideration? I am also interested in deactivated page owners for example,
Kind Regards
Matty
