How to show linked ticket status in same grid as original ticket?

Hello, 

I am trying to show within a macro, data around linked ticket associations and their statuses. Specifically, if I have ticket A which was the original and ticket A is linked to ticket B within another project, how can I cleanly see in one grid the status of both of these tickets?

@Justin Lehman are you try to write a custom macro?

I would suggest just writing a filter that pulls the information back and using the Jira issue macro in Confluence.
