Unfortunately the link provided as a link to documentation, is a link to this community thread itself.

Also, the initial question related to permissions, not restrictions.

The documentation for adding and removing permissions is here:

There is a delete method as well and at least adding permissions works for us.

My recommendation is to start with the documentation: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-set-or-remove-permission-to-a-space-user-group-or-a/qaq-p/2366801 . First get the page restrictions, then change them in the UI, then get them again and compare. This is one way to learn.
