How to recreate retrospective blueprint automation that break on edit?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
Even if I edit the default retrospective blueprint with any minor change that does not touch top information table, the table stops being populated with date, team and participants data. How do I create my own blueprint that has an automatically populated table with date, team and participants data (from selected team). I have tried using placeholder text, variables and page properties but found that they are not the tools to get this information.
