We recently updated our Confluence server installation to 7.8.1. Since the upgrade we have noticed the blog post list in the space sidebar no longer shows the posts in the expected order, i.e. most recent first. The blog posts are correctly grouped by day but within posts for a given day the order is wrong.
Our Confluence server is running on RHEL 7.5 64-bit. The database is stored in PostgreSQL 9.6.
The problem we are seeing is similar to what is reported in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-59388 . Do you know the cause of this problem and what needs to be done to fix it?
Please could you suggest a way for us to ensure our blog posts are displayed strictly in creation order?
Thanks.
