on a confluence page, i have 4 different JIRA macros with different queries, but all using the same date.  Can i have them share a date object or something on the page rather than editing them all individually?

I don't know of any way to do that with Confluence Cloud.

I'm afraid it doesn't help you, but for someone else who may access this page: If you have the Bob Swift Run Self Service Reports add-on, it is pretty simple to put the JIRA issues macros inside the Run macro. Use the run variable substitution in your JQL.
