How to link to a Google doc in confluence?

Note:  The Google doc integration provided by Confluence cannot be used because it would give third parties read access to google docs, which is not OK.

Just supporting links and not messing with them would do fine.  At the moment, just pasting a link causes the link to be marked as a google doc link with a special icon - pretty, but then the link can only be used by accepting google drive integration, which requires permissions that should not be granted in our case.
