How to get Risk matrix (risk register plugin) from JIRA in a confluence page

Vincent Goguet July 13, 2021

Hello,

I would like to get the risk matrix available in Jira (inherent risk + residual risk) and store it on a confluence page.

I didn't found how to do it yet. Do you have suggestions or recommandations ?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Risk Register is an add-on by an outside vendor, but it is not compatible with the latest Jira Data Center version 9.8.1

Hi Vincent,

Jira doesn't support a risk matrix natively so it is probably being provided by a marketplace application. Do you know which app that might be?

kind regards,
Craig

I have search for a moment on Risk Register documentation and my problem may come form the registration of external gadgets.

The problem is that I don't have enough privilege to check this configuration.

I contact my admin to control the config.

Thank you for your help !

The admin give me the access all rights to check the configuration.

I am facing another problem : I don't have the possibility to record external gadgets.

It looks like matching this topic.

To summarise it quickly, under Confluence cloud and according to this post the external gadget is restricted under Cloud.

I can find documentation on how to add external gadget for Data center and server but nothing on Cloud side.

Is there a way to record external gadget under Cloud ?

Thanks for your help

Hello,

It is not currently possible to add the risk register gadget to Confluence in the cloud. This is an enhancement in our backlog, though I don't currently have a delivery date I can share for it.

kind regards,
Craig
