How to export the table in Confluence page to Excel/CSV?

Hello Team,

I have a confluence page with text and a table, I would like to export only the table to my local in the form of Excel/CSV for further verification. Is there any direct way to do the same?

I found that there are a few extensions which are recommended in other answers but they are all paid ones. Not sure if they were free during the time of posting and later changed to paid.

1.  Table Exporter for Confluence

2. Table Filter and Charts for Confluence

3. Others

As I work in corporate I do not think belongs to the free tier, can you please let me know if there is a way to export only the table to Excel/CSV using some direct approach or using the free extensions?

Posting the workaround as it can be helpful to someone in the future.

I could not find any direct way or Confluence extension way to extract the table from the Confluence page. So I tried the other way i.e. using some extension from Google Chrome browser to extract the table on the web page and to my surprise, it worked perfectly.

I used the Table Capture extension from the Chrome website which works perfectly for my requirement. Hope it helps someone :)

The simplest thing you can try is to directly copy/paste the table.  Be aware, that this only sometimes works.

@marc -Collabello--Phase Locked- Thanks a lot I have tried this but it does not work as intended.

Just to confirm:
There is no direct export option available in Confluence right? We have to rely on extensions right?

Yes, to export you'd need an extension.

This is quite counterproductive that people need to jump the hoops to have one basic feature like exporting confluence table to Excel.

If I can be harsh and say something then it would be "The lame atlassian"
