Hello,
At the moment we have a script, which exports only one space every week. This was made from the admin before me. Now I have to update Confluence and I was thinking about to delete the export script, but only if it's possible to export a space directly with confluence every week.
Is there a way to do this? I have looked in the space tools, but there I haven't found the resolution.
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Daniel
Your question does not make sense. You already have a script to export a space and you want to upgrade your instance. Suddenly you want to delete it and still export automatically? Why are you deleting the functionality that works?
At the moment we have Confluence 5.1.3 and I upgrade it to 5.8.4. The confluence admin before me wrote a script to export a very important space every monday. When I set up a new production server and want to restore the file the selfmade backupscript isn't in this restore. So my idea was, if it's possible to export a space every monday over the Webgui and not with a selfmade script over console. Timothy you're right I also can use and adapt the scipt, but when it's possible to export over the WebGUI, I prefer it that way so it's automatically in the whole server backup and in the restore (when I need to restore) I hope I explained it right now and you know what I want to say. Kind regards, Daniel
