Imagine I have to find "Eisenbahnschwelle".
I know to search substrings like this: Eisenbahn*
How do I make this default so I only have to enter: Eisenbahn
Different said: how to activate wildcard searching by default?
I know already leading wildcard search is not supported yet.
Is there still no way set this global? Its a bit odd that the search in confluence doesn't work like every other search in the world.
Hey Thomas,
As Davin suggested, the best way is to set a Java Script, because the search library comes from Apache, so it's little bit limited to customise it.

In the custom html section of Confluence Admin you could set up some JavaScript to append an asterisk to the search when the form is submitted. That is the only way I can think to do it.
