Hello,
I am trying to create a simple process flowchart where I can embed, link, or attach documents in Confluence. I do not see how to or find any templates that can do this. In a simple diagram, I'd like the team to see the doc in the flow, click to open/edit it, close it, then send for review. If this cannot be done in Jira or Confluence, then plz let me know if another application is best suited for this.
TY, DN
Hi David!
I'd be happy to guide you and show you around draw.io to help you set up exactly what you're looking for. We can easily do this. Also, as Valerie mentioned, we have a 30-day free trial, so you can really dig in and see how it fits with your work as a whole. :)
if you're interested, feel free to book a time that works for you here. Looking forward to chatting soon.

Unfortunately, adding apps (Gliffy) is not possible on our locked down network. I only have access to Jira/Conf.
I have been trying to use draw.io, but just don't see how to do this. I've booked a mtg for this week.
TY, Dave

Hi @David Nuce , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.
If you would be open to an app, I'm pretty sure you can do this with Gliffy https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/254/gliffy-diagrams-for-confluence or Draw.io https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1210933/draw-io-diagrams-whiteboards
You can install the free trial and see how you go
Best wishes

Great answer, @Valerie Knapp !
Yep, David, confirming that there isn't a way to do this natively on the page in Confluence. This would be the time for a Marketplace app! I work on Gliffy — so feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
