Hi all,

In a blog post, is it possible to specify a section limit like "read more"?

The result would be that:

  • only text before this limit is visible on the blog "main page" (index of all posts)
  • when user clicks on "read more", it opens the full blog post

Thanks in advance,

Nicolas

If you are listing your Blog Posts with the Content Type set to Excerpts then you can use the Excerpt macro on the Blog Post itself to define the Excerpt section of the blog post.

Hi Nicolas,

I believe the feature you're looking for is the Expand Macro:

Hope this helps you!

Cheers,

Did this ever get figured out? We have a blog using Atlassian and I would like a way to display a section of the blog post on the main search results page. So the page shows the recent blog posts, but only a section of them , and the user would click on the title to view the full post.

Having a Read More macro you can place in the blog post for this purpose would be nice.

Thanks  it could be a solution... But it does not seem possible to include this macro in the "index" page of the blog, doesn't it?
