How to create a form in Confluence for free

Marina Peralta Olano January 24, 2021

I would like to create a simple form in Confluence to be able to approve/reject  requests for publishing new data into the page. Is there an easy way or template to implement it without the need of embedding a 3rd party software?

Thank you,

Hi @Marina Peralta Olano ,

welcome to the community. Unfortunately this isn’t a feature confluence has natively. There are some third party apps that do this like approvals for confluence: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216387/approvals-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

now without using an app, you would either need to have people create their content in a different space that you could make that’s like a draft space, that once it got approved the article got moved to the other space. In the non draft space you could limit who has the ability to edit/add pages.
otherwise you would do this via process documents and feedback.

hope this helps, sorry got my poor capitalization, as I’m on my phone.

best,

Clark
