How to connect NAS Synology server/database to confluence and make links to files in database?

Ishaan Dev January 19, 2023

Hello,

We have two servers (one of which is a NAS by Synology and the other is also networked). I am wondering if there is a way to link files in these databases to confuence so people can click on them and navigate or open the file as long as they are on the correct network. Or perhaps the link provides a preview of the link.

Thanks.

Hi Ishaan,

I run a Nas as well and have a similar issue, no integrations for synology surprisingly.  I use 365 and have been reluctantly dragged kicking and screaming back into the cloud.  The workaround I will be testing, will be connecting cloudsync to 365, and then using team connect to embed into confluence (https://www.ikuteam.com/).  They totally rock by the way.

Like this you can:

  • Map synology drives
  • Sync onedrive, dropbox at others with your NAS
  • Embed & link folders and files into pages.

Would looooooove a DS file integration

Best,

Johnathan
