How to connect Confluence to MS Office?

Verified Domain. Created API Key as Admin. Passed to Confluence Connector in Microsoft. Got the following error

What other options are there for Authentication Type? Auth with Token should be something other than Basic Auth -> Basic is Username Password.

Something available containing "token" or "bearer" ?

Mhm.. Basic would be the correct thing in that case. Have you put in your email-address (from the Atlassian Account) as username?
