How to close tasks that are on a rollup page when the task has been removed from the original page

Hi, 

We have a rollup page that captures all open tasks on child pages. We had copied tasks from one child page to the other and then removed those tasks from the 2nd child page. The result was that we had dups on the task rollup page which didn't seem like a big deal but then realized that we get an error when attempting to close the actions that no longer exist on the original page. What can we do to close these tasks and override this error?

@Adam Brett welcome to the Atlassian community 

After the instance indexes the duplicates that have been removed should not appear and the error will be resolved.  The error is because the task not longer exists and the index will fix that.
