How to bulk remove users from confluence-users group as part of user license cleanup
I would like to suggest miniOrange's User Management for Confluence app.
You can bulk remove users from the confluence users group as a part of user license cleanup with the help of our add-on.
We have a feature wherein you can automatically deactivate users based on set criteria such as days of inactivity and bulk remove them confluence users group.
I hope that helps. Please raise a service request here and a miniOrange representative will help you with all the details.
PS: I work for miniOrange, One of the Security vendors in Atlassian Marketplace.
Thanks,
Aditya
Hi @Krithica G _EXTERNAL_ ~ it depends how your users are added to that group. Are you using Crowd? Active Directory? One option that you can use directly in Confluence is to navigate to the Groups screen and click the trash icon next to the ones you want to remove (https://yoursite/admin/users/domembersofgroupsearch.action?membersOfGroupTerm=confluence-users). Not really bulk delete, but it would be pretty quick....
Another option may be to use the API: https://docs.atlassian.com/ConfluenceServer/rest/8.9.0/#api/admin/user
