Hi everyone,
I'm trying to set a graphic directly from one of my tables, but when I click on the graphic options, it seems there are only my "column's titles" suggested as X axis AND data sets.
I'm confused...
For exemple my table is like this :
Columns = months
Lines = differents set of data , like "Number of accepted bugs", "Number of rejected bugs" etc...
So i'd like to set a graph showing curves of my data sets' progress through time.
I don't see how/where I can configure it that way, any ideas ?
Thanks in advance,
Hi @Raphaël NORYNBERG ,
The default graph is created from the menu under the table. Then you click on the "Chart options" under the graph and get a panel with all the settings on your right:
Seems that I didn't get the case at first: the question was not about the Chart macro menu. You just don't want to transpose your source table as it's shown on my screenshot. But otherwise you won't get the required graph.
Or you need some advanced add-ons that will transpose existing tables automatically.
For example, our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app and its Chart from Table macro:
Hope that the second answer was helpful.

Yes indeed, basically in your case it seems that you can only select Month, Bugs an Ideas in X axis AND Data series.
In my case column and rows are inverted.
Anyway, what I want to display is for exemple the evolution of the number of accepted bugs through time with one curve and the evolution of the number of accepted bugs through time with an other curve , but I can't select my rows as "data series" so I don't see how I can do (without inverting my rows and columns).

Okay thanks for your quick answer, so if I correctly understand the only way to get what I want for free is to invert my rows and columns or to find an app or add-on, no way to do that with natives options right ?

Yes, you are correct: the native Chart macro works fine but it's still rather limited (for example, your case, the range of graphs' types and it also doesn't support dynamic tables such as Jira Issues and Page Properties Report).
